Short Film Winners

The Purbeck Shorts competition played to a packed Rex Cinema. Judges Rob Dartnall; documentary film maker and academic, Professor Jim Hunter, formerly Arts University Bournemouth, Tiffany Holmes, British Film Institute , Paul Hilton animation expert, AUB and Nick Beaumont, academic, BBC designer and producer deliberated long and hard in selecting the judges’ choices and the audience engaged in lively debate in choosing theirs. The judges commented that Grown Ups exhibited flair, originality, good acting, suspense and Shipping Forecast, beautiful technique combined bravely with a poignant personal story.
